Contributing via Fork & Pull Request.

Fork the Repository

Click the Fork button on GitHub to create your own copy.

Clone Your Fork

Download the repo to your local machine

Create a New Branch

Work in an isolated branch

Make Your Changes

Edit code, add features, or fix bugs

Test Your Changes

Verify functionality before submitting. If your changes have not been tested anywhere, set up an environment for testing by following Magento Setup for Contribution.

Commit & Push

Save and upload your changes

Open a Pull Request

Go to the original repo, click New Pull Request, and select your branch

Review & Merge

Wait for maintainers to review. Make requested changes if needed.

Become a Maintainer

After actively contributing and gaining experience with Lightna, you can request to join the maintainers' team.
